Will Martin is a proven medical device executive with extensive commercial and operational experience in building successful early-stage organizations. He currently serves as the President and CEO of IRRAS.
Prior to IRRAS, Mr. Martin served as General Manager of the Peripheral Vascular (PV) devices business unit for Philips Healthcare. In this role, Mr. Martin oversaw the expansion of Philips into the interventional vascular space and was responsible for defining and executing the global business strategy. He played a key role in the acquisition of Spectranetics for more than $2B, and, during his tenure, the PV segment was one of the fastest-growing business units at Philips.
Mr. Martin joined Philips after serving as the Vice President of Commercial Operations at AtheroMed, Inc., and his contributions resulted in the company’s acquisition by Philips Volcano. He previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Hotspur Technologies, Inc. (acquired by Teleflex), the VP of International Sales at AccessClosure, Inc. (acquired by Cardinal Health), and held other key commercial roles at Boston Scientific Corporation, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, and Corning, Inc.
Prior to beginning his medical device career, he served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
