She is an established People Leader with over 20 years of experience in recruiting and human resources working with a variety of industries. Samantha has supported clients around the Bay Area, CA to NY & everywhere in between, including international clients in Israel, UK, South Korea and Canada. In addition to working with some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley, Samantha has been recognized as one of the Top 100 influential recruiters across the globe by LinkedIn in its inaugural class of the LinkedIn 100 Award.
Samantha founded AmpersandPeople because of her passion for helping companies implement, scale and iterate their people practices. As a trusted counselor to senior leaders at both large and small companies, she has a proven track record of growing and retaining high performing teams. Her work emphasizes Talent Brand & Company Culture, creating the most authentic People Programs for her clients. She has worked within and provided strategy on a variety of cultures – each unique and some extreme: Google, Electronic Arts, Shutterfly & the often talked about Theranos. Her one year at Theranos provided a unique opportunity to lead a large Talent Team while working to define and change a corporate culture and use executive coaching to ensure business deliverables were met.
Samantha holds a Bachelors in Organizational Communications from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. When she’s not working, she enjoys adventuring to places she’s never been & exhausting her Annual Pass to Disneyland, as well as mentoring & giving back to her community.
