KRISTIN ASHCRAFT brings expertise in establishing strategic direction and then building the teams
required to meet the business need. Kristin is skilled at Commercial strategy and execution, introducing
new functions, transforming underperforming teams, and leading change management. Kristin is
frequently sought after to weigh-in on complicated issues because of her ability to simplify the
components of the challenge and take action. Kristin is a proponent of creating and maintaining effective
organizational culture and strives to build strong relationships with colleagues through mentorship,
partnership and valuing people at all levels as individuals.

Kristin is the Chief Operating Officer at Genome Medical, a privately-held venture-backed telegenomics
company. During her tenure, she has overseen Business Operations, Program Management, Legal,
People, Customer Success, Product, and Finance. Kristin focuses on collaborating with the executive
leadership team to create the long and short-term strategy for the organization and establishing key
performance indicators for the company to drive toward in making the strategy a reality.

Kristin has spent over half her career in the healthcare industry at companies ranging in size and
maturity from start-up to the Fortune 500. Prior to Genome Medical, Kristin led Alliance Management at
digital health start up, MyHealthTeams. She also led Commercial Operations at Counsyl Inc and was
there through its acquisition by Myriad Genetics. While at Counsyl, Kristin led Public Affairs, Sales
Operations, Inside Sales, Commercial Learning and Development, Customer Service, Account
Management, Intake, and EMR Integrations. While at DaVita Inc, Kristin was on the leadership team and
played numerous roles as one of the first five business people on an internal start-up, Falcon EHR. She
also worked in a second business unit at DaVita, a mail order pharmacy geared toward serving patients
with chronic kidney failure, DaVitaRx, as Chief of Staff to the General Manager and by leading operations
at scale (300-400 employees, multiple locations) for Customer Experience, Insurance Management and
Process Engineering. Kristin started her career at Gap Inc where she gained a foundation for
management, consumer marketing, multi-million dollar cost negotiations and strategic planning.

Kristin holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Biology and
Environmental Science and Policy from Duke University. In addition to serving as a board member for
WISER International, Kristin has advised several biotech start-ups, is a proud member of Chief, serves on
the Biocom DEI Task Force and is on the Executive Committee of the Alumni Board for UCLA Anderson
School of Management.
