In this 30 minute session, an overview of the current cancer landscape and a unique cancer solution for employers and their employees will be discussed. Cancer screening and diagnosis rates are historically low as a result of people avoiding doctor offices and hospitals for fear of contracting COVID-19.  Individuals are skipping preventative care screenings and avoiding addressing symptoms with physicians that could be cancer-related.  As restrictions begin to lift and individuals are getting back to their routine screenings, the medical community is expecting to see a spike in cancer incidence and a larger volume of late-stage diagnoses are expected as well.

Given this additional level of complexity, it will be extremely important for employees to have access to cancer support services, genetic testing, and navigation as we move through this pandemic.
