Jeff Calder is a Principal with the firm and serves on Marsh & McLennan Agency’s executive committee. He brings over 30 years of industry expertise to his role as Employee Benefits Division
Director for the company’s Bay Area offices. Jeff developed and continues to manage Marsh & McLennan Agency’s Beyond Benefits Life Science Trust and serves as the firm’s Life Science
Practice Group leader. In addition to his leadership roles, he oversees the employee benefits program for a number of large group clients. Jeff’s areas of expertise include consumer-directed health plan design and alternative funding arrangements. Prior to joining the firm, Jeff was a top-performing sales executive for Travelers and played a lead role in developing the Benefits Alliance
LLC, a health insurance purchasing cooperative. Jeff currently serves on the board of the Oakland Museum of California and is active in VNA Home Health and Hospice fundraising. He is also on the advisory council for a number of national insurance companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from California State University, Chico.
